Devon County Council and the NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have taken the joint decision to progress further financial integration of adult health and social care services, with the ambition of moving to an aligned budget arrange by 2020/21 and are seeking a Financial Integration Manager on a six to nine month fixed term contract to help us achieve this.
The post holder will be a jointly appointed experienced project manager with a strong financial management background. The purpose of the role is to provide clear direction to the development of effective governance, reporting arrangements and working relationships whilst ensuing the needs of both organisations, as well as the wider integration agenda, are met.
Working knowledge of Accountable Care Systems and relationships is desirable as is the ability to demonstrate clarity and integrity in communicating verbally about complex financial matters in a public forum.
The role is suited to an effective communicator with first class interpersonal skills who is confident in dealing with senior management. Excellent IT and analytical skills with a sound understanding of project management principles is essential, as is the ability to organise and prioritise often conflicting workloads to achieve deadlines accurately and on time.
