Practice Bookkeeper – Beaconsfield - Permanent
This Beaconsfield based accountancy practice has a requirement for a Practice Bookkeeper. Key aspects of the Practice Bookkeeper role involve managing a portfolio of clients, maintaining and updating the client records with all aspects of bookkeeping and will include producing VAT returns for a range of clients from sole traders to limited companies and partnerships, across a range of industry sectors and sizes.
Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues are required to obtain the necessary information to meet VAT and Management Accounts submission deadlines. The main accountancy product used is Xero, along with QuickBooks and Sage. Sound knowledge of MS Excel and Word will be required.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience dealing directly with clients and working closely with the partners of the business who will encourage your development in the company and the role through training courses etc.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive and can do approach to their work. The ideal candidate will have previous practice experience and knowledge of cloud based accountancy products, ideally Xero. In return you will receive a salary between £23k-£28k + benefits.
