The Senior Finance Manager will support the Head of Finance and Group Finance Director in all aspects of financial planning / management accounting for the Group and be the lead on the production of annual statutory accounts for the Group.

My client are a high growth organisation with plans to quadruple in size in the next coming years. Having already completed two succesful acquisitions this year and more in the pipeline they now seek an ambitious qualified accountant to join the team.

Description

What you'll be doing:
  • Audit lead, responsible for consolidating the statutory accounts for the Group
  • Lead on the production of the Group P&L consolidation and reporting for the monthly management accounts
  • Lead on the production of the Group P&L consolidation for the forecasting and planning purposes
  • Be responsible for maintaining the Sage supplier relationship, processes and updates
  • Finance lead including reporting, commercial modelling, due diligence and integration
  • Lead the production of financial MI in line with evolving business requirements
    • Being an approachable, knowledgeable, effective and trusted Finance business partner, considered by stakeholders to be providing a high level of service to the various business units
    • Management and development of the Assistant Accountant, ensuring regular appraisals and one to one reviews are carried out properly and that the training and development needs of staff are identified and met


    • Lead the production of the consolidated month end management accounts for the Group


    • Production of Monthly Finance Board papers in conjunction with the Head of Finance


    • Be responsible for the production / maintenance of the Forecast, Plan and 5 Year Plan P&L Group consolidation models


    • Ensure all the necessary financial controls and procedures are in place and up to date for each entity in the group


  • Lead the production of the year-end / hard close statutory accounts audit and act as the lead contact with internal and external auditors
  • Support the Head of Finance with any commercial pricing and ad hoc analysis / MI to support investment decisions
  • Manage the Relationship with Sage and ensure all processes are up to date, relevant and documented
