Peter Symonds College - Director of Finance
Peter Symonds College is a large sixth form college with a reputation for excellence in teaching, learning and student support. We have about 4,000 sixth form students, a full programme of adult and higher education and are unusual in having a boarding provision.
With the retirement of the current Director, we seek a qualified accountant to lead on financial matters and also share in the wider, strategic leadership of the College as part of the Senior Management Team. The College has consistently been rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ and is in a strong financial position. The Director also line manages the Estates and Catering Managers, with a responsibility to promote best use of the College estate. You will have extensive experience in accounting, including line management. You will also have sound judgement, strong communication skills and a commitment to work with colleagues to the benefit of our students and other stakeholders.
