The Finance Bursar reports directly to the DOSP, and is responsible for the delivery and management and control of all strategic financial plans and routine interface of the Bursary with parents, staff and other clients. The Finance Bursar is expected to report to the Senior Leadership Team when requested from time to time, and routinely to the Finance Committee (FinCom), the OSEL Board and the Foundation Board with reports, forecasts and financial control data.

Direct Reports

The Finance Bursar line manages a team of four full time finance staff: an Assistant Accountant (CIMA qualified), a Pupils’ Accounts Administrator (AAT) qualified), an Accounts Payable Administrator (AAT qualified) and a Payroll Manager. They in turn are supported by a part-time Accounts Administrator (AAT) and a part-time filing clerk. There is also part-time HR & Payroll Assistant partly supporting the Payroll Manager.
