Contracts and Quality Manager: £36,000 + Benefits (12-month FTC)

For a Regulator based in Central London, we're recruiting a Contracts and Quality Manager for a 12-month maternity cover. The Contracts and Quality Manager will lead on the contract management for several key agreements, supporting and leading on the contract management and set up of a new testing centre. The role will coordinate and manage all activities relating to the provision and maintenance of the contracts including the application of contract and suppler management skills, the ability to apply continuous improvement solutions and taking the lead on all stakeholder activities in this area. Maintain and manage the day to day relationships with key contract suppliers and will review all contract processes, renewing contracts as appropriate. The role will ensure all contracts are managed to SLAs and will support the procurement and tendering process for new contracts.

Main Duties:
  • Lead on operational management of supplier contracts
  • Ensure all standards of specifications, performance and cost effectiveness are achieved
  • Actively monitor the suppliers again contract SLA's and KPI's, taking corrective action when needed
  • Provide supplier performance management information (MI) to internal stakeholders and senior leadership team for make decisions
  • Proactively share information and manage all communications with stakeholders
  • Maintain and update risk and issues register
  • Management of external relationships, including contract management of 3rd party suppliers
  • Design and manage the quality assurance and address development areas
  • Lead on ensuring the reliability, validity and integrity of the supplier's performance of the contracts
  • Develop reporting mechanisms for the contracts to include regular MI reports and contract performance updates

Person Specification:
  • Proven experience in vendor relationship management
  • Proven experience of contract management
  • Proven statistical analysis and reporting MI on contracts performance
  • Experience in building effective networks across and range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Candidates will ideally have worked in a small directorate of a complex organisation managing contract SLA's and KPIs liaising with internal contract managers and external suppliers
