Senior Finance Business Partner, London. 55 - 60K + benefits

For a global organisation with headquarters in central London, we're recruiting a Finance Business Partner to the Products, Operations and Quality Assurance divisions. The Finance Business Partner will improve the effectiveness and profitability of the division by taking ownership of the cost base, gaining and in-depth understanding of the internal economics and working practices and working across teams to systematically deliver a material uplift in MI, transform the cost base and improve decision making, financial understanding, planning, efficiency and governance.

Main Duties:
  • Put together a strategy to work through the cost base in order to deliver a material and measurable uplift in performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and profitability of the Division
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
  • Work with SMT to transform working practices, costs and governance
  • Define and deliver KPIs to manage performance and deliver improvements
  • Present analysis, findings and recommendations for long-term benefit
  • Take responsibility and ownership for budgets and forecasts for the costs bases, ensuring all departments are aligned to the TOM
  • Attend monthly review meetings with the management accountants to provide strategic guidance and identify risks and opportunities
  • Work with the Senior Revenue Analyst to ensure costs are reflected in profitability models
  • Assist project owners in building and writing business cases for investment

Person Specification:
  • Proven experience in a business partnering role including excellent cost transformation, budgeting, forecasting and risk/opportunity management
  • Strong Excel modelling and pricing experience
  • CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualified (or studying towards)
  • KPI development experience
  • Strong understanding of the underlying accounting treatments of transactions and ability to spot anomalies
  • Personable approach to financial management and able to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability and experience of communicating and influencing at a senior level
