Newly Qualified Audit and Accounts Senior - Northamptonshire

As part of the firm' s succession plan we are recruiting a senior member of staff to join the team; this is an opportunity for a newly or recently qualified ACA / ACCA Audit and Accounts Senior with varied experience combining audit, accounts and tax work.  This is an opportunity to gain invaluable experience dealing with clients and gain exposure to the advisory side of dealing with SMEs.

Role Summary

  • The role requires the ability to plan, control and review audits to £30m+ in turnover with the ability to manage staff and deal confidently with clients directly.
  • The remainder of the role will revolve around the accounting requirements of clients and combine year end accounts, monthly management accounts and providing advisory services to clients such as cash flow and budget forecasting.
  • The tax experience required will need to be at least at a basic compliance and advisory level and this must be an area that you have an interest in already and keen to develop your skills.

In summary the successful applicant needs to be well versed in audit and taxation, having worked for a general practice firm of accountants and be ACA or ACCA qualified Audit and Accounts Senior

There are prospects for progression in the medium term as a part of the firm's succession plan but also as a result of continued growth and fee acquisition.
