My client is a rapidly expanding consultancy with a reputation for delivering great results and supporting clients to deal with their most complex problems. We support clients in a variety of different markets.
This business has a team of high calibre finance professionals that support clients with Strategy and Markets, Economic / financial advisory, Trading and Operational Excellence. They count the Energy Big 6 as there biggest clients and so the ability to deliver solutions using a data centric approach within a fast paced environment.
This role sits within the strategy and Markets team and offers you the opportunity to play a key role in the companies continued growth and success.
As part of the Strategy and Markets team you will help businesses assess their intentions in the context of the bigger financial picture. You will help our clients define, adjust and/or validate strategies, from 'go to market' launch propositions, through lifetime value optimisation, to best in class operating models.
The business team have years of hands-on industry experience across suppliers of all sizes and get to grips with the client's specific needs to deliver solutions which are backed up by clear financial data.
This is where your analytical and commercial acumen plays will play a key role in delivering financial and commercial improvements to really drive forward the clients offering in the market.
You will be responsible for gathering, interpreting and presenting analysis to support our leading Market Insight products along with keeping the team updated with latest news/commentary and trends within the sectors you cover.
Your analysis will cover a mix of company specific research to gain insights into their strategic intentions and latest innovations, coupled with industry and economic research to analyse the competitive nature of the industry using well known analytical frameworks

The successful candidate will be bright and come from a similar finance/ consultative /analytical role. My client is open to qualified (ACA, ACCA , CIMA) and QBE candidates with the following skill set:-
*The ability to interview key stakeholders, gather and organise information, analyse the collated financial data and prepare reports that summarise findings.
* You must be highly personable and be able to build strong rapport quickly.
* You must be a strong Excel user and have experience of financial modelling
* You must be a strong communicator with a can do attitude
* Experience of a similar analytical role (a huge plus would be if this is with a big 6 energy provider
*Be educated to a degree level.
