Accounts Senior / Audit Senior
Hayes, Middlesex based accountancy practice is seeking an Accounts Senior / Audit Senior to join their small team. In a role offering potential equity stake, the successful candidate will ideally be ACCA/CIMA ACA part qualified/qualified
They are looking to recruit an Accounts Senior / Audit Senior preferably with audit experience reporting directly to the partners. You should have extensive experience in general practice work including accounts and tax and preferably audit.
Your responsibilities will include the preparation and completion of financial statements for clients together with the associated tax compliance work. This will be for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. If you have audit experience, you will also be responsible for managing and conducting audits. This will be for approximately 6 weeks but will also include accounts work and you will be on clients premises for approximately 3 weeks. There will also be other ad hoc work including management accounts, advising on bookkeeping systems etc. There will have a good level of client contact.
They have a wide range of clients including medium sized limited companies, owner / managed companies, partnerships, sole traders, solicitors, charities and personal tax returns. They also carry out solicitor accounts rules audits and an ATOL accountancy report.
Being able to use IRIS, Quickbooks and Sage would be an advantage. Good excel skills are essential.
The ideal Accounts Senior / Audit Senior would be a self motivated and positive individual with a passion for quality and excellence in service delivery and attention to detail. The role itself will be very hands on, with regular client contact and teamwork expected from the outset, so strong interpersonal skills are essential and in return you will receive a salary between £30k-£55k + potential equity stake.
