The IT Assurance team sits within the Financial Services Division. The IT Assurance team primarily provides IT internal audit services to the firm’s Financial Services Division’s clients. The majority of projects undertaken relate to IT General Controls reviews, data security and confidentiality reviews, IT SOX audits and data quality reviews for insurance-related entities.



  • Undertaking stand-alone IT assurance projects;
  • Working alongside the existing IT Assurance and Financial Services teams as necessary
  • Delivering our existing work in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Assisting in the marketing of the service to existing and new contacts;
  • Taking part in insurance-related events
  • Researching the market to identify current market issues. 
  • IT SOX audits and data quality reviews


Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of previous experience in IT Audit 
  • Educated to degree level
  • Technically capable with an understanding of a broad range of IT technologies
  • Experience of client relationship management
  • Ability to identify problems and implement workable solutions
  • Knowledge of control frameworks and audit experience would be an advantage
  • IT Governance and IT Strategy
  • IT Change Control/internal IT development
  • IT Infrastructure
  • Data integrity/reporting
  • Systems selection/IT project usage
  • Solvency ll capital model process validation
  • Compliance with General Data Protection Regulation
