Robert Half are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts assistant to working on a FT contract basis with our financial services client based within Edinburgh City Centre. Our client is looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their busy finance team. This would suit a skilled Accounts assistant looking for a new opportunity with a growing company that can provide career development along with a healthy work/life balance.

  • Processing purchase invoices and delivery notes
  • Dealing with daily purchase ledger queries
  • Assisting with month end close and credit control
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and payments
  • Daily Processing of bank transactions and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare inter-company reconciliations and arranging bank transfers
  • Raise applications for payment and sales invoices to customers

  • At least six months of practical, hands on accounting experience
  • Computer-literate; Microsoft products, as well as Sage knowledge
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Maintain the company brand and image through all external and internal communications

Salary & Benefits:

  • £10-£12.50 per hour
  • Holiday pay accrued
  • On Site parking available free of charge
