Robert Half are currently partnering a growing business in Castleford to recruit a permanent Finance Manager to join their team. They are looking for a driven individual who can continue to develop the business and work with the directors, providing financial advice and support.

The Role
  • Monitor everyday financial operations
  • Reporting into the FD
  • Supporting transactional member of staff
  • Month-end reporting
  • Statutory accounting
  • Cash flow management and forecasting
  • Budgeting; working closely with other members of management to understand the requirements entailed
  • Analysis of sales forecasts
  • Production and monitoring of KPIs
  • Submission of VAT returns
  • Preparation of year-end accounts
  • Management of service contracts
  • Successfully complete the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and reports set by company policy

  • Be a concise communicator that can supply a clear message to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Be able to provide substantial information from own analysis to support business decisions
  • Be able to discuss, train, and implement processes within the finance department and the wider organisation
  • Have relevant experience in preparing month end accounts and cash flow management
  • Qualified/Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience will all be considered


£35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Benefits
