Robert Half are excited to present an Accounts Assistant role working with a world leader operating globally in the telecommunications and utility industry.


Our Client are looking for an ambitious individual with a great attitude to fulfil this Accounts Assistant role. The perfect candidate will be able to work efficiently within this vibrant company undertaking a host of responsibilities within the finance function to contribute towards our clients already proven success.

  • Organising and managing UK supplier invoices and credit card transactions (mainly IT and Facilities)
  • Checking the bank and posting receipts into SAP Business One
  • UK Sales Ledger and credit control - creation & input of sales invoices (only a handful per month)
  • Posting and reimbursing staff expenses via Concur - across the group (UK, EU, USA & Canada)
  • Credit Control
  • Handling and reconciling company petty cash
  • Daily Cash balances spreadsheet update to management
  • Month end procedures
  • Fixed Asset management
  • Credit card processing
  • Travel coordinator for Travel Management Company Adhoc Accounts Duties


The Role of Accounts assistant will be based in Cambridge City Centre, just minutes walk from the train station. The ideal candidate doesn't need any past experience, just the willingness to learn and all importantly a great attitude! This role is perfect for someone looking to progress quickly with a Globally recognised company who are experts in their field

Salary & Benefits

£20,000 - £25,000 Per Annum + Company Benefits
