Robert Half have exclusively partnered a rapidly growing, Birmingham based based manufacturer to recruit a Finance Manager. The successful candidate will lead UK finance function and report directly to the Group Financial Controller This opportunity has arise due to internal promotions at both head office and group functions.

Responsibilities:Working closely in collaboration with the Group Financial Controller to oversee the implementation of effective financial and accounting policies and proceduresMaintain the chart of accounts in E9 and for upload to SWITCH to ensure reporting compliance and at company and group levelResponsible for agreeing all inter company balances each monthResponsible for reconciling all intra company balances each monthProduce monthly management accounts, profit and loss, balance sheet and stats along with reconciliations, variance analyses and explanation for statistical trendsEnsure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and reconciling items are investigated and cleared in a timely mannerPartner with Operations to further understand the numbers and improve accuracy, process and efficiencyResponsible from adoption of new accounting policiesVAT reporting to HMRC and dealing with HMRC queriesMaintenance of Fixed Asset register, process for additions and disposals, process for checking existence of assetsPreparation of forecasts in conjunction with financial controllerPreparation of year end information and tax pack to ensure smooth running of the auditKey point of contact for audit of UK accounts

ABOUT YOU:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Experience of working within a fast paced, challenging environment.Minimum 5 years' finance experience (incl. leading a team)Advanced Excel skills

Salary: £40,000- £45,000 dependant on Experience + Private Health Care + 20% Bonus
