Robert Half Finance & Accountancy are pleased to be working exclusively with an SME business based in Hemel Hempstead recruiting an exciting Company Accountant/Finance Manager position. This is a number role in finance, managing one member of staff and managing all of the financial's for two successful entities. This role will also support the Sales Manager and Service Manager and be part of the senior management team.


The Company Accountant/Finance Manager will be responsible for:

-Managing all of the month end accounting to trial balance; accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations

-Year end and statutory accounting

-Sales & Purchase Ledger and Credit Control

-Fixed Assets, Stock & Inventory

-Support on Pricing and Commercial Sales

-VAT returns


-Managing one member of staff


We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who is either Qualified, a Finalist or Qualified by Experience. You must have previously managed all of the financials in an SME business, be comfortable being hands-on managing all day to day accounting, managing one member of staff and some administrative duties for the company.

Salary & Benefits

A highly competitive base salary of £50,000 - £55,000 plus package
