This role will suit a candidate used to working with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment and who has the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently

The Role

The Expenses clerk role will encompass the following core duties:
  • Timely processing of c. 250-300 employee expenses per month in Concur.
  • Provide effective and timely communication with internal and external clients.
  • Ensure correct application of expenses policy and correct errors.
  • Maintain the integrity of the AP Expense ledger (follow up of old items, credit balances etc.)
  • Strive to maintain the highest level of data integrity and customer service.
  • Support payroll with payroll data submissions to external providers.

Your Profile

The successful Expenses Clerk will be an experienced transactional finance professional who can demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in previous roles. The successful Expenses clerk will also have excellent English written and verbal communication skills, be articulate and professional, and communicate in a clear, positive fashion with clients and staff. Experience using Concur would be highly beneficial but not essential.

The Company

Our client is a large international business within the media sector with its headquarters based in modern offices in Basingstoke. You will be part of a compact expenses team of three people so being a team player is essential. There is ample parking available and good public transport links as well.

Salary & Benefits

This Expenses Clerk role will pay £24,000-26,000 per annum pro-rata, parking is provided.
