Robert Half are partnering a well-known name in the infrastructure industry to recruit for an accounts assistant. The role sits within a busy team and has a high volume of transactional workload. You will need 2 years+ experience in a similar environment and be happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in!!

Main duties of the role are as follows:
  • Purchase invoice processing including 3 way matching (PO/delivery note/invoice)
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Banking
  • Processing of subcontractor payments
  • Processing of subcontractor valuations
  • Handling of statement reconciliations
  • Processing of payroll/wages for all weekly paid staff
  • Liaising with other departments and the wider Finance team
  • Gaining approval/sign off for payments from Department Heads and Directors
  • Handling queries from subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
  • Producing month end reports
  • Ad hoc duties as per the needs of the business
