A&F Chambers are currently recruiting for an Accounts Clerk to join our client, a global organisation, to be based at one of their sites in Basildon.

This role is essentially a mix of Accounts Payable and Payroll so would suit someone who is comfortable and experienced in both areas.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Process invoices and reconcile supplier statements
  • Prepare payment runs for suppliers
  • Process expenses and credit cards weekly
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintain monthly payroll
  • Process starter and leavers forms
  • Maintain sickness, absence, overtime and holiday records
  • Produce payroll reports
  • Update payroll documents and processes as required


  • Monday to Friday, 8:30AM - 17:30PM
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience
  • Full time, permanent role
  • 20 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday
  • Free parking
