Robert half finance and accounting are actively recruiting for a temporary Purchase Ledger clerk to support a rapidly growing manufacturing business in Southampton. The role is being offered as a 9-month temporary assignment following on with a potential conversion into a permanent role.

With onsite parking the business is looking to recruit a target driven purchase ledger clerk to join a high performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities.
  • Inputting/processing high volumes of invoices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Overseeing month end - closing ledger
  • Monthly BACS payment runs
  • Dealing with queries either via email of telephone
  • Preparation of foreign Payments
  • Payment allocation & cashbook reconciliation
  • Good knowledge of Excel

Your Profile

The successful purchase ledger clerk is likely to have had previous purchase ledger experience, specifically in dealing with high volumes. You will be working with a team of approximately 15 and reporting directly to the finance manager.
