A&F Chambers are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our client in Colchester, a well-established, friendly, independent supplier.

This role would suit someone looking to join a company where you will be working within a close-knit team and enjoy a busy varied role.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Monthly purchasing and credit card reconciliations
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Filing invoices
  • Ensure invoices are logged into the system correctly
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Foreign payments
  • Credit Control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Petty cash

Person Specification:

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Experience using Sage
  • Studying towards/obtained AAT preferable


  • Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM
  • Full time, permanent role
  • 20 days holidays + 8 bank holidays
  • Free parking
