Robert Half are currently recruiting for a private equity backed entertainment company based in Central London. The client are recruiting for a Senior Purchase Ledger / Receivable Manager.

Role

Senior Purchase Ledger / Receivable Manager - 2 direct reports

Process invoices accurately and promptly.
 Match supplier invoices to purchase orders, via correct authorisation system.
 Ensuring that all invoices are approved as per delegation of authority.
 Process company expenses
 Liaising with cinemas and suppliers to ensure timely processing of invoices.
 Dealing with supplier queries.
 Dealing with any Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable queries from other departments within the company.
 Managing Accounts Payable Administrator & Cash & Bank Administrator.
 Overall responsibility of Accounts Payable (20,000 invoices p.a.).
 Overall responsibility of Accounts Receivable (200 invoices p.a.).
 Overall responsibility of bank reconciliations and journals prepared by Cash & Bank Administrator.
 Weekly review of banking differences and change control issues.
 Monthly review of refunds issued.
 Processing of weekly payment runs (B.A.C.S. and cheques).
 Obtain sign off on ad hoc Chaps payments.
 Control account reconciliations and follow up.
 Supplier account reconciliations and follow up.
 Reviewing invoice register and managing the resolution of unapproved invoices.
 Producing & reviewing weekly & monthly ledger reports.
 Liaise with Management Accountant to ensure smooth period end ledger close.
 Providing regular ledger updates to the Head of Financial Accounting & Finance Director.
 Any other administrative duties delegated by the Head of Financial Accounting or Finance Director.

Profile

Minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable Experience
 Experience of managing & developing a small team
 Analytical, autonomous, assertive and organised
 Good verbal & written communication skills and team spirit
 Discretion in dealing with Company information and financial data.
 Computer literate and proficient in Excel
 High level of attention to detail and accuracy
 Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
 Demonstrates flexibility
 Strong influencing & negotiation skills
