Robert Half Finance and Accounting are working in partnership with a growing not for profit organisation based near Oxford to recruit a Finance Manager in a newly created position due to exciting and continuing growth.

This role will support the Finance Director and wider team to ensure the organisation makes sound business decisions based on accurate financial information. You will be actively involved in driving and delivering financial strategy whilst deputising for the Finance Director providing a progressive and well rounded opportunity.

This role is paying between £40,000 and £47,000 per annum plus great benefits including 25 days annual leave.

The Finance Manager Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Reconcile spend versus budget for projects
  • Reports, budgets and variance analysis for financial statements
  • Analyse financial performance to provide short and long term forecasts
  • Develop, lead and coach a small team
  • Liaise with external auditors


The successful candidate will have a solid background in financial management/control and keen interest to work within a not for profit environment where everybody works together to deliver the end results. Strong analytical and process improvement mindset will be advantageous.
