The Permanent Division of Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant on behalf of a Large Retail Client with offices in Milton Keynes.
This is an excellent opportunity within a massive brand to work around supporting the timely and accurate reporting of financial accounts and monthly information for a specific business unit. Day to day duties will consist of production of financial results for the business unit and providing management accounts up line to senior managers; provision calculation with associated variance analysis; statutory accounts and consolidations; balance sheet reconciliations; compliance testing; VAT work and stakeholder management across senior heads of department and across other Divisions within the business.
You will ideally be a Qualified Accountant with a strong technical skill set and an ability to work on your own initiative. The client is working towards a First Move from Practice however other backgrounds will also be considered. You will have up to date technical knowledge - IFRS; strong excel and an ability to look beyond the numbers in order to provide analysis and insight.
