Robert Half, Welwyn Garden City is working with an established client in Borehamwood who are looking for a Payroll Officer to join their growing team to administer salaries of head office staff.

Our Payroll Officer role involves:
  • Ensuring that all payroll amendments are administered correctly and accurately reflected in our payroll system
  • Acting as a point of contact for payroll queries from HR and from employees
  • Preparing weekly and monthly payroll runs, reviewing for accuracy and following up on any amendments
  • Performing ad-hoc payroll requests as requested

To be successful as a Payroll Officer, you'll need:
  • Experience of working in a payroll department serving a multi-site organisation
  • Good understanding of basic payroll legislation
  • Experience of iTrent preferable but not essential
  • Intermediate Excel skills, you should be comfortable with V Lookups & Pivot Tables
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a busy and varied workload
  • Like to work as part of a team
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Exceptional communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal


The role of Payroll Officer in Borhamwood is paying between £21,000 to £25,000 with great company benefits
