The Company

Robert Half are recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager to join a prestigious FMCG business in Selby for a maternity cover to last until February 2020. This will give someone the opportunity to grow the role and add value to business, as well as maintain the day-to-day aspects of the role.

The Role

The Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for:
  • Production of budgets and forecasts
  • Maintaining robust financial controls
  • Responsible for the month-end close process
  • Managing a small team of qualified and part-qualified accountants
  • Business partner with non-finance teams
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

Your Profile

You will be a qualified accountant who has solid PQE and can demonstrate key competencies as required by the role. A thorough understanding of management accounting and reporting is required, as well as past experience of managing a small team. You must be able to present finance information to non-financial management. FMCG experience is desirable, but will also consider manufacturing or logistics experience.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is £50,000 - £55,000 plus 15% bonus and excellent pension scheme. This will be on a fixed-term contract. Please contact Will Sides for more details.
