Interim Finance Manager
This is a process improvement role based around Month End and high volume reconciliations
My client is a leading Financial Services organisation based in Central Cardiff
Reporting to the Head of Accounting Operations, you will be a Finance Manager in the Group function.
The SSC supports the whole business across the UK and in Cardiff there is a transactional team who manage high volume reconciliations, posting Accruals and preparing the ledger to be passed to the Financial Accounting team.
This team is a high functioning, driven team that closes the accounts in a very timely manor.
This role will support the Head of Accounting Operations to drive process improvement and financial control across this team.
The role will involve staff management of c7 -8 staff and will be very hands on.
You will be a qualified Accountant.
Ideally you will have worked in Financial Services, however candidates coming from large complex businesses or with large volumes of reconciliations will be considered.
You will be a leader who can drive change and motivate a team.
You will have excellent analytical skills
You will have great Excel Skills
You will have excellent stakeholder management skills.
a 9 - 12 month FTC
Salary c£40,000 - £63,000 on payroll of the business.
