Accounts Payable Clerk
Robert Half are exclusively recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for an award-winning distribution business in Godalming. They are seeking someone to temporarily cover the purchase ledger having lost a permanent member of the team. This role will be an ongoing temporary assignment and offers the potential to go temp to perm.
- Match, batch and code a high volume of invoices.
- Deal with supplier queries.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Bacs payments.
- Take responsibility of the prepayment invoices.
- Pre-payments and accruals.
- Ad hoc duties.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking to make the next step in their career whether they come from an interim or permanent background. Candidates will be expected to process over 100 invoices per day and be tenacious enough to pro-actively pick the phone up to deal with supplier queries.
The company is a well-known distribution business with offices just off the A3 near Godalming. Due to the location, any candidates for this role will be required to drive to work as there are no easy public transport links. They have modern offices in a converted barn.
Salary and Benefits
£11-13 per hour, onsite parking.
