The Permanent Division of Robert Half are currently recruiting for an exceptional new Financial Controller position for a service business in Milton Keynes that is setting up a new Finance Team.
As Financial Controller you will take responsibility for a newly created Finance Team working through both the Technical and Commercial aspects needed for the business. Day to day duties will include: development of financial controls and reporting requirements; VAT reporting; Statutory Accounts; Management Reporting; updates into the Group Function; Investment Appraisal work; contract management and analysis of new and existing business.
You will be a Qualified Accountant with a strong mix of Technical and Commercial Accounting experience and with the ability to work across a business in an exciting state of flux. The role will require some travel whilst the team is set up and developed and will involve less frequent travel once the team is established. This is an excellent opportunity to put your own stamp on the team being developed and also be integral in the ongoing development of the business moving forwards.
