Reporting directly to the Senior Portfolio Analyst, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to work within a leading firm and help contribute to its continued growth.

The role

The primary objective of the role is to support the business and finance team with analysis, data processing and reporting. Key deliverables include:
  • Assist with compiling financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Collect and analyse case data, and assist with the preparation of detailed financial analysis for management and other stakeholders on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Assist the Senior Portfolio Analyst with case valuations
  • Data entry - ensure that all case financial information is captured on the company's bespoke case platform
  • Support cashflow projections - liaise with the diligence and monitoring teams to ensure all deployments / resolutions are included in the projections
  • Gathering and input of data into financial model
  • Monthly reconciliation between case platform and management accounts
  • Assist with case deployment bank reconciliations and posting of the related flows into the ledger
  • Liaise with external administrators to ensure timely case deployments
  • Support continuous improvement of systems, processes and activities
  • Ad-hoc support to all finance team members as required

Your profile

To be consider for this position you must ideally meet the following criteria:
  • A university graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 degree that demonstrates numeracy
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a finance or data analysis capacity
  • Actively working towards finance credentials (CFA, IMC, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Required proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data to make recommendations on business direction
  • Strong research, problem solving, analytical and valuation skills / understanding
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential

  • £28-33,000 DOE
  • 6% pension contribution
