Robert Half Finance & Accountancy are pleased to be partnering our client, an exciting Birmingham based firm, on the recruitment of a newly created Senior Management Accountant position. Reporting into the FC you will partner a wide range of finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Role of Senior Management Accountant
To partner with the business, proactively support and challenge the business in the delivery of their key strategic priorities. The ability to influence decisions at a senior level is essential, providing insight into financial performance to a range of stakeholders demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Analyse key trends and variances, advising and influencing budget holders to aid understanding of the impact of financial performance.
- Working with large, complex datasets and systems, create accessible and user friendly outputs that support the budgeting, forecasting and budgetary control processes.
- Provide clear, accurate and timely information to budget holders to enable business decisions to be made to achieve financial plans.
- Engage with budget holders to support them in producing robust forecasts and budgets and to ensure the financial cycle is complied with.
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong management accountant and business partnering experience and who ideally has some project accounting experience and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
A highly competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 plus bonus package
