Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst to join an exciting Technology company experiencing huge growth based in central Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£25,000 - £34,000 plus study support and wider benefits package

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Lead the team to deliver robust, timely, consistent and quality information to support the business to maximise cost savings and identify efficiencies
  • Add value by enabling ownership and accountability at a local level and providing transparency of financial and non-financial information to operational teams including managing directors
  • Support local teams to eliminate risks and maximise opportunities
  • Coach and develop a Finance Analyst within the team
  • Work in a collaborative way, establishing strong effective working relationships with colleagues both within FP&A and across the Division
  • Set the highest standards of performance, lead by example, and demonstrate passion and determination to influence, inspire and motivate
  • 3 Year Plan, Budget and Quarterly Forecasts
  • Period end deliverables, including approving journals as agreed/appropriate and insightful analysis to explain movements in key numbers
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis at Line Manager's request
  • Occasional input in non-financial KPIs
  • Development and maintenance of standardised budget and forecast input models, which can be easily understood by non-financial managers
  • Development and maintenance of periodic variance analysis to aid businesses in understanding risks and opportunities
  • Drive efficiency/best practice, including involvement in improvement projects
  • Challenge the status quo where appropriate

Person specification:
  • Working towards qualification with a recognised accountancy professional body (preferably ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • Experience of dealing with all levels within a business with confidence
  • Experience of team management is not essential, but must be able to demonstrate capability of team management skills, including coaching, mentoring and performance management
  • Highly numerate with demonstrable analytical skills
  • Strong organisational and self-management skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with proven ability to juggle various tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to deliver to tight and/or moving deadlines without compromising on quality
  • Clear and concise written and presentation skills
  • Committed to excellence in customer service for all stakeholders
