Robert Half are hiring for a Tax Manager for a business based near to Cambridge who operate in the real estate and property sector. This business provide consultancy and a variety of services to small and medium size property businesses as well as to individual investors and owners.
This role forms part of their accounting services offering to their clients; The Tax Manager is tasked with leading the business's advisory, consulting and compliance tax services alongside other colleagues who provide services in relation to accounting, payroll, rent collection, bookkeeping etc.
Responsibilities include dealing with clients and HMRC in relation to:
- the setting up of tax records
- submission of client tax returns on time
- liaison regarding enquiries by HMRC into returns
- managing payments of tax to HMRC
- completion of HMRC authority forms
- completion of client set up including Terms of Engagement and fee arrangements
- collation of all information required to complete tax returns accurately and on time
The company are ideally looking to hire either a qualified accountant or a qualified tax advisor ( ACA / ACCA / ICAS / CTA).
The successful candidate will have some UK corporate tax experience at a minimum; Experience in other areas of UK tax is beneficial but not required.
Applicants can have gained this experienced either from working in practice or from working in an in-house position.
The client is a leading consultancy business specialising in the property, real-estate and agricultural sectors.
Salary & Benefits
Salary will be in the region of £40,000 to £60,000 dependent on your level of relevant experience.
