Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a very well-established business based in Tewkesbury on a temporary to permanent basis. Due to recent successes, a driven individual is required to contribute to an expanding team.

The company has undergone significant growth in the last three years and is now considered as one of Gloucester and surrounding areas best employers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain more finance exposure within a rewarding workplace.

Core Responsibilities
  • Telephone customer service with Suppliers
  • Distributing invoices and follow up invoice approvals
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries
  • Accessing and interpreting data from database
  • Logging incoming invoices
  • checking, chasing and obtaining authorisation of invoices
  • Data entry
  • General filing & housekeeping as required
  • Assisting with month end tasks

Skill Set Required
  • Well organized
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work on their own initiative also as part of a team
  • Adaptable and used to managing change
  • Good computer and data entry skills
  • Experience with computer databases
  • Able to apply a logical thought process

Specific Knowledge Required
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office
