Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for an organisation based in the North Bristol area. Due to recent successes, driven individuals are required to contribute to this expanding workforce. Although this in an initial temporary assignment the scope for permanent work is highly likely.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain more finance exposure within rewarding workplaces.

Core Responsibilities
  • Telephone customer service with Suppliers
  • Distributing invoices and follow up invoice approvals
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries
  • Accessing and interpreting data from database
  • Logging incoming invoices
  • checking, chasing and obtaining authorisation of invoices
  • Data entry
  • General filing & housekeeping as required
  • Assisting with month end tasks

Skill Set Required

Friendly and confident communicator by phone, email and in person (internal and external)
  • Well organized
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work on their own initiative also as part of a team
  • Adaptable and used to managing change
  • Good computer and data entry skills
  • Experience with computer databases
  • Able to apply a logical thought process

Specific Knowledge Required
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office
  • Interested in working in a finance team
