Robert Half Finance & Accountancy are pleased to be supporting our client, who are based near Watford, on the recruitment of an exciting Finance Manager role. This role manages a team of accountants and ledger staff and is ideal for anyone newly/recently qualified looking for a step into management or who has some management experience looking for a larger remit and responsibility in a well known business.
The Finance Manager will report to the Finance Director, will manage 5 staff in the finance team and will be responsible for:
-Producing monthly finalised P&L accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
-Producing monthly management reporting packs with commentary
-Producing 3 Year Plan packs with supporting documentation and FD reports for presentation.
-Setting the budget for the financial year.
-Producing half year and year-end accounts for consolidation at Group.
-Managing a team of part qualified accountants and sales & purchase ledger staff
-Ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Director
We are looking for a fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) accountant who has management and financial accounting experience- month end, P&L and Balance Sheet, management reporting and who has produced year end accounts. Construction experience would be a great advantage.

Salary & Benefits
A highly competitive base salary of £50,000 - £60,000 plus bonus and benefits
