Graduate Trainee Accountant - Rotation and project scheme

Indicative responsibilities:

Making sure each project has a robust financial tracker in place and that full life cost and revenue projections agree to contracts and are up to date

Set-up and maintenance of the Project in the Oracle Project module

Undertaking thorough reviews of project data to build a firm understanding of financial transactions affecting project performance.

Based on a work-complete model, ensure that income and costs are appropriately reflected in the Project accounts each month.

Assessing project accruals and prepayments and where necessary posting journal entries to Oracle.

Reviewing monthly cash books and bank reconciliations from overseas offices and uploading to Oracle

Ensuring that transactions entered by the Accounts team are correctly allocated on the ledger and aligned with Project Budgets

Updating QuickBooks files and Project Operating accounts

Producing the Practice Management Accounts at Month-end and Budget


Minimum degree level 2.1 - 2015/2018 graduate

Studying towards or looking to Study ACCA / CIMA/ ACA desirable

Commercial awareness

Great communication skills
