Management Accounts Manager
To manage the timely and accurate preparation and provision of monthly management accounts and related reporting.
My client is a National Accounting Practice who have shown year on year growth.
Preparation of monthly management accounts for consolidated Group
Preparation of Month flash report for consolidated group
Preparation of other reporting and analysis as required
Ensuring all reporting is accurate and timely.
Adapt reporting as required for ongoing changes in the business.
Supervise and manage the management accounts team of 3 ensuring tasks are completed.
Liaise with the payables team to ensure information is complete and accurate.
Proactively look to improve processes and gain efficiencies.
Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis
Deal with month end close down and year end rollover.
Ensure integrity of integrations between different systems
Assist financial controller on project work.
Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA or equivalent (essential) with at least 3-4 years PQE in a management accounts environment
Intermediate - Advanced excel skills (i.e. familiar with using formulae, filters, pivots. lookups).
Experience Microsoft Dynamics GP an advantage.
Experience in a professional services environment an advantage.
Able to manage your time effectively and work well with others in a team.
Able to work to tight deadlines and manage pressure.
Good communication and numerical skills, with an attention to detail.
Able to deal with sensitive information
Able to be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements of the role during the year.
