A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a prestigious luxury hotel brand, as they are looking to bring in a Finance Manager to run the day-to-day finances at their Cambridge property. If you have 2+ years’ experience within the finance team of a hotel then we would love to hear from you.


As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the finances at the property, including:

  • Maintaining accounting records such as sales & purchase invoices, bank transactions and cash transactions
  • Reconciling cash on a daily basis
  • Producing monthly P&L reports
  • Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
  • Running payroll
  • Liaising with heads of departments to ensure their finances are in order
  • Working with the Group Financial Controllers
  • Setting up payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid on time


Along with the hotel’s General Manager, you will play a critical role in the smooth running of the hotel behind-the-scenes, and this is an exciting role which can offer you plenty of variation in your day-to-day duties. This is not your typical finance role where you will be stuck behind a desk working on your own all day long - you will be very involved in liaising with every department, so strong communication skills are required.
