A&F Chambers are working with a national luxury hotel brand on the recruitment of a Financial Controller for their Cambridge property.


Working on site, you will oversee the accounting function for all departments within the hotel. This a wide and varied role, and as such your duties include:

  • Managing daily income & expenses
  • Producing profit & loss reports and management accounts
  • Providing commentary and analysis on performance
  • Administering payroll for all staff
  • Reviewing nightly audits
  • Handling and reconciling cash
  • Processing invoices and setting up payment runs
  • Assisting with the year-end accounts preparation
  • Liaising with heads of departments


The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, good initiative, and be looking for a hands-on role where you will be involved in all aspects of the hotel's finances. Experience using SAP and Opera is desirable but not essential. Previous experience in a hotel finance role will put you ahead of the competition.
