Part Time Finance Manager
Due to continued growth and increasing regulatory requirements we are looking to recruit a permanent part-time finance manager to support the Finance Director and the board.
Our client is a high growth tech business based in the heart of Oxford supporting several organisations globally whilst being main market listed.
The finance manager will have a wide range and variety of duties including; maintaining the accounting records for Group and its 3 subsidiaries, ensuring that all appropriate reconciliations are carried out, liaising with our external asset managers to resolve any queries arising from statements, producing quarterly management accounts, budgets and other ad hoc reports as required.
They will also be responsible for preparing VAT returns and assisting with corporation tax matters. At year end and at half year end the finance manager will work closely with the finance director to ensure that all the necessary schedules are prepared for audit and tax in a timely manner and will assist with the production of the Annual Report and interim statement.
The ideal candidate who must have the highest standards of personal integrity will be highly organised, self-motivated, be able to work flexibly and to tight deadlines supporting the finance director. They will have excellent financial accounting and reporting skills and meticulous attention to detail. They must be an effective communicator, both written and verbal, and be able to form effective working relationships with the executive directors and our key advisers.
- ACA Qualified.
- Familiarity of working within a listed environment.
- Comfortable with a variety of both strategic and transactional finance work.
- Quickbooks experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Organised, self-motivated, attention to detail and ability to be flexible.
- Confidence in dealing with a variety of different stakeholders within a close-knit team.
£45,000 - £55,000 pro-rata.
