Finance Officer Role

A post is available for a part-time Finance Officer in a high-end private women’s health centre in Chelsea, London. This role will require you to be flexible, able to multitask, enjoy variety in your workday and have a willingness to learn. In return, you will be working in a highly dynamic organisation, with a very supportive and friendly team environment. The main aspects of the role are to support the Finance Manager and Board in providing professional financial and accounting administration. 

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all finance & management reporting related tasks are complete. This includes:

  • Maintain Financial and Operational Records, generate monthly activity reports
  • Daily Inputting all required information into Sage
  • Provide daily KPIs
  • Conduct daily/weekly financial audits
  • Support debt management effort (insurance and self-paid), liaise with patients and insurance companies
  • Support Finance Manager in preparing Management Accounts, monthly calculators
  • Support Finance Manager in preparing monthly Management Information pack to Board
  • Supplier Management and point of contact with suppliers
  • Liaison with stakeholders on a daily basis in terms of invoicing/accounts 
  • Banking and reconciliation 
  • Work within the Finance team alongside Finance Manager, Management team and Board
  • Attend senior management meetings and finance meetings (when required)

Essential Skills and experience:

  • AAT or ACCA (qualified or part-qualified)
  • Good experience of working with Sage and MS Excel 
  • Previous experience within an accounts department
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

Desirable Skills and experience:

  • Organised and methodical with attention for detail, and able to work to deadlines
  • The ability to challenge process and innovate
  • Some knowledge of medical software / database software
  • Some knowledge of invoice chasing and collection
