Interim Project Accountant
Robert Half are currently recruiting an Interim Project Accountant to work alongside the Finance Director in a growing business in the outskirts of Wakefield, who have recently restructured their Finance team. This role will be an intensive project of improvement and change for the department in order to drive forward business output and results.
As an Interim Project Accountant you will be responsible for the process improvement and change across the entire finance function.
A brief overview of your remit will include:
- Contractual cash-flow and operational obligations.
- Reporting on actual variances to prior forecast and budget
- Month end procedures
- Providing regular commentary on project financial status
- Produce bank reconciliations
- Providing weekly updates of the Project Finance reports
You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ CIMA)
You will ideally have an extensive Interim Project Accountant background - with extensive experience and tangible example on improvements you have previously made to businesses
Accountancy experience will extensive analytical work - essential
Stakeholder management skills are essential
Good rate of pay on offer - £225-275 depending on project experience
