Robert Half are recruiting a Financial Controller to join an alternative asset manager platform based in Central London. The Financial Controller will take control of a small finance team, ensuring smooth running of the company's financial department and providing leadership through the continued growth and expansion of the company's businesses. The overall responsibility will be to oversee and provide senior leadership for all day-to-day accounting, quarterly closing, corporate entity audits and financial consolidation tasks for the group. Key emphasis will be on providing transparent financial information creation for shareholders and the executive team to ensure effective corporate decision making. This is a role that requires balancing the hands-on financial management of a company with strategic decision-making at the highest level. This role will also drive and support operational efficiency & process improvements across the business with scope to further develop to a full Finance Director role within 6-12 months.
To be considered for the role of Financial Controller at this Central London based alternative asset manager platform, you must be fully qualified with 3-5 years of post qualified experience. You will come from a professional services or financial services background with strong technical experience under your belt including reporting, consolidations and management accountant. The Financial Controller will have sound management skills and will be robust enough to liaise with Managing Partners, senior stakeholders and investors.

Salary & Benefits
The role of Financial Controller at this alternative asset manager platform will be paying £65,000-£75,000 depending on experience. The Financial Controller will also receive an attractive discretionary bonus and benefits package.
