Head of Finance
The Permanent Division of Robert Half Finance and Accounting is currently recruiting for a Head of Finance on behalf of a specialist Construction and Services business with offices in Milton Keynes
As Head of Finance you will report to the Managing Director and take responsibility for all finance and administration duties for this SME business. Day to day duties will consist of developing and maintaining core financial statements; compliance and internal reporting policies and procedures; Tax, PAYE and CIS tax reporting; cash management, a par and credit control management; performance and variance reporting; reporting and control of individual budgets for projects; cash flow management and forecasting; asset management; payroll management and other ad-hoc duties.
You will be a Qualified Accountant or QBE with previous Head of Finance, FC or FD experience looking for a new exciting and challenging opportunity within a business that is taking ongoing growth steps. Previous Contract/Service or Construction backgrounds would be of additional benefit. You will be used to working within a SME environment where the requirement to be hands on and be close to the business is key.
The business is a SME profile currently with ambitious plans for growth and development. The recruitment of a Head of Finance for them is key to this ongoing growth.
