Assistant Financial Accountant

£25,365 per annum, 36.5 hours per week

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our busy Accounts team. This is a varied and interesting role primarily supporting the Financial Controller and Management Accountant. Responsibilities include preparation for month end and year end reporting as well as completion of financial ledgers. Preparation of fees and costing breakdowns for student placements is also part of the role.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA part qualified/qualified by experience and be highly computer literature with experience of spreadsheets, databases and accounting software. You will have previous experience in a similar role and have a good knowledge of VAT. A keen eye for detail and have a proven ability to effectively prioritise your own workload is also essential.
