Senior Finance Officer x3 posts
Salary: £34,538 to £37,306
We are looking to recruit three ambitious and adaptable Senior Finance Officers to help ensure that the high performing Council continues to manage its resources effectively and efficiently.
Working with the Finance Business Partner, the post holders will manage a small team of Finance staff providing a professional management accounting service to the Council’s departments.
The main responsibilities of the posts will include providing financial support and guidance to service based budget managers; working with them to identify, calculate and explain movements in expenditure and income forecasts.
We invite applications from candidates who are passionate about the services they support, keen to understand the business models that underpin services and are able to build effective relationships and have an aptitude to positively embrace, and influence, change.
The successful candidates will have either a relevant professional finance qualification and/or significant experience of working in finance in a large organisation.
