Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently working with our client, a reputable household name, in their recruitment of a Commercial Finance Manager on a permanent contract. The role will work closely with the Head of Finance and will business partner very senior non finance stakeholders and will be prioritised with providing effective commercial and financial support to the business. The role will pay up to £55,000 + car + wider benefits for the successful candidate. PLEASE NOTE: travel with this role will be required (2/3 days a week South West based) - but there is a large amount of flexibility with the option of working from home etc.

  • Provide financial control for the business
  • Develop strong relationships directly with the customer - both operationally and within finance
  • Develop budget and commercial mechanisms to drive performance and an enhanced understanding of the operational cost drivers
  • Manage a small finance team
  • Provide meaningful MI reporting
  • Reporting and monitor KPIs
  • Maintain control of debt and cash management

Experience Required:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA)
  • Strong technically, but with a strong commercial acumen
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous people management experience
  • Be inquisitive with a passion for driving performance
