This is a critical role and will implement the agreed plan to address control gaps and specific risk areas, both financially and operationally. As Project Manager, your role will include:
  • Drive internal controls change project
  • Design, document and implement specific controls to address issues identified
  • Embed new control processes with staff, including training
  • Work with existing systems/IT to establish practical "work arounds" based on existing technology available
  • Work closely with both senior management locally as well as within group HO to solve control issues in a pragmatic manner

We are seeking someone with both the technical capability and the gravitas to deliver this business critical project. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement experience, be a clear communicator, have a pragmatic approach and be comfortable being "hands on". Although you will have support from a Project Assistant within the group, we are seeking someone with the commercial awareness and project management experience to deliver within the time frame. Experience of delivering internal controls frameworks within commercial enterprises is key, ideally with exposure to a business that delivers projects or works within contract frameworks. The role will be based in Doncaster for c.75% of the time, with the remainder of the time travelling to UK based depots and potentially European HQ. It is expected that this project will last 3 months. Pay rate: c. £400-500 pd.
