Global Assurance and Technical Manager
Under the technical director, you will be the first port of call of all queries regarding quality assurance and technical matters; assisting with the international quality assurance programme; evaluating information returned by members; and carrying out reviews across member firms. A high level of communication and a prominent awareness of the commercial industry is paramount, as you will be writing and publishing technical news, assisting on research projects on a global scale and developing technical training for member firms. Professional experience with ISA and IFRS will greatly aid in your ability to assist with the management and review of the network’s global Independence Database, and in the development of global audit procedures. A substantial amount of international travel is required as you will also be reviewing new membership applications; liaising with regional directors and performing due diligence procedures.
- Relevant, recognised accountancy qualification.
- Technically strong knowledge of ISAs and IFRS
- Strong auditing skills.
- Experience of working with international organisations,
- Right to live and work in the UK at the time of application
- Ability to work in a team
- Good presentation skills
